Perhaps the greatest museum of contemporary and modern art on Germany, with a unique collection of German expressionists, cubist painters, American abstract expessionists, and many other prominent schools. And the ticket is only 12 euros.

The museum is all about contemporary art (paintings and installations) not bad to visit and especially on Sundays when the ticket is just 1 euros. The place is huge, will easily take 2hrs for a proper tour of the museum. The service for the ticket and coat area was perfect. Loved the overall visit.

They have a new installation of a gigantic "Aubergine"-colored balloon in their main hall. It's fascinating. Our favourite was the room with the works of Georg Baselitz he donated to the museum himself. In total we spent roughly 3 hours enjoying this fantastic museum. It worth it!
