International Pharmacy Hauptbahnhof

Nice spacious pharmacy, immediately got helped. International staff, speaking multiple languages. Easy location, 2 min from Hauptbahnhof station. Most handy option on Saturday until 8pm.

Very friendly and qualified staff with great guidance even in the English language. Very pleased overall and felt very comfortable and well looked after!

I went here twice today (Thursday) and I was helped within 2 minutes both times. Got what I needed AND a "Gute Besserung!"

Terrible experience this morning. I went right at 8am opening as I have to leave for the airport at 9am and needed head cold medication as I’ve caught a bit of a cold. When I first walked up to the counter there were 2 women behind it. I said “good morning, how are you?” and the woman closest to me looked at me like I was gum on her shoe and said “talk to my colleague” said something to her “colleague” in German and walked away. Rude. I explained what I needed and asked to pay by credit card. The woman said no problem but then something went wrong with her computer terminal. After her fiddling with it for at least 5 minutes and not saying anything to me about what the issue / wait was about she asked if I could pay cash. I said no as I was just about to leave for the airport and the last of my cash was needed for my shuttle. She said she was trying to get the machine restarted. She DID NOT say anything about only being able to pay by cash she just kept fiddling with her machine. After standing there for about another 15 minutes I asked her if she thought she’d be able to get the machine working so I could pay as I had to leave for the airport. Another cashier/pharmacist finished with the person she was assisting and I asked if I could pay at that register. She said only by cash. At that point I had been standing there for at least 20 minutes. I asked the person who was “assisting” me if I was going to be able to pay by card at all and then she said “only cash” while still fiddling with her computer. Honestly, she was aware that I was on a schedule as I said that I was about to head to the airport so she should have said much earlier that it would for sure be cash only and that paying with credit card would not be possible. So now I have no more time to go to another Aporeke since I wasted 20 - 25 minutes just standing there waiting and will have to catch my 11 hour flight without any cold/sinus medication. Horrible “service” and I use that term lightly.

Get in, get what you want, pay, then get out. Don’t linger any more than necessary because the staffs’ attitudes might ruin your otherwise fine day.
