A very busy street in the very center of of Munich, leading from Marienplatz to Stachus (Karlsplatz). It is a pedestrian street, with the exception of delivery trucks and city services such as cleaning. The street is lined with all sorts of shops and eating places kiosks and stalls, most of them geared towards tourists. Rumor has it that this is the most expensive street - in the world - for retail shops. This area is frequented by of street performers and entertainers, with large crowds of spectators. Even if you are not interested in shopping, the street offers a lively atmosphere and worth a stroll.
