Normal cleanly railway station where you can trip to a lot directions

It's just a typical Ruhrpott train station.

A visually appealing reception hall with a central information point. A few adequate supply shops (bakeries, drugstores, magazines and newspapers, cafes and various snack offerings) complete the picture of the urban focal point. The area behind and the access to the tracks are under renovation and will hopefully be completed in 2021/22 (similar renovation as in Bochum, hopefully the rear exit / access will also be sensibly planned and made more accessible!?!) Otherwise, it is a relatively typical Ruhrpottbahnhof, which can be easily reached by car, tram or underground and is located in the immediate vicinity of the city center.

If you want to experience the failure of Multi-Kulti live, visit the Dortmund train station. As a young Soltat until the last time I drove here 20 years ago (and ee was already quite colorful at that time). But what I saw today really scared me. Sense of security equals zero. Dirt and shady people characterize the picture. For me now a NO-go-area as a normal European.

This station is not really nice ...
