The Old Town Hall has and offers a historical experience what you can already see at the Golden Hall in the Old Town Hall and it is worth seeing. In the last few days there was a very nice exhibition of pictures by some local artists who would be exhibited here in the old town hall, it was very nice to see. Various exhibitions and events take place in the Old Town Hall, either in public or in closed society. Here you should inform yourself beforehand. It is worth it depending on the event and what the interests are. It is not a purchased rating, it is what you have personally looked at and tried.

Beautiful underground medieval prisons under the town hall, you go down only accompanied on tour with free audio guides and a person who does not explain but indicates the route, the tours are only at certain times, the last one is at 16, cost 4 euros, lasts about 30 min. You go down into a maze of small rooms connected with torture rooms and you can still see the metal tools for hanging torture. Too bad that you only enter a few environments it is actually very extensive, the audio guides often enchant and you do not follow the explanation well. Even here there are no bathrooms available and by law there should be at least outside, the same problem as at the Imperial Castle. . it's ridiculous..

The Old Town Hall proudly and stately shows not only the self-confidence of the rich city of Nuremberg, but also in the cells of the perforated prison, including the cruel investigations into the actions of lawbreakers. The large hall above will also become an event location today, on December 13, 2019. The tour of the prison is great - you shudder and are happy to live today!

Beautifully restored hall, very well suited for solemn occasions. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was very drafty at the event of the PostSV and set too cold for my feeling.
