Fascinating character. The museum is in two parts, (on either side of the road), and both are top quality exhibitions. The place is clean, staff were friendly and helpful. The exhibits all have full English interpretations. Technology is used very well throughout and was very factual. Obviously being a museum based mainly on one person, it could easily become either hero-worship or demonization, but it does very well to give the impression of a factual and constructive understanding of an important economist and politician that faced similar hurdles that politics encounter today. I was disappointed that I didn't see Ludwig's book 'Wohlstand für alle' in the museum shop. It would be a great seller in both German and English. I know because I wanted to read it after visiting, thankful I could download a free ebook version easily off the interwebs after a quick search. Edit: 12 month later than my initial review. I’ve returned to see that they now stock Erhard’s book ‘Wohlstand für Alle’ in it’s English translation as ‘Prosperity through competition’. A great read and a fantastic compliment to the museum experience.

Very interesting. Definitely worth a visit. The city center in Fürth has also been modernized very appealingly.

Very interesting for Ludwig Erhard fans and those interested in history. Everything beautifully staged. You really should have visited ...

An all-round successful museum! I am enthusiastic about the perfectly presented content on history and economics

Extremely interesting museum, housed in an extremely hideous building. Many people I know personally find that the Ludwig Erhard Center is housed in the ugliest building in Fürth. Unfortunately, I have to agree with this opinion, no other building is so unsuitably embedded in its surroundings as this. What is decisive for a museum is not whether it is housed in a beautiful or not so beautiful building, but rather the quality and variety of the exhibits and the presentation in general: entertaining or boring, etc. If you bring enough time with you, you will get stuck in the Ludwig-Erhard-Zentrum and will quickly find many interesting and new things. Impossible to give details here - that would go beyond the scope! You can only recommend: come yourself, look, be amazed and learn!
