Brought a pair of A.P.C. tasselled loafers in black to be completely resoled on a Saturday afternoon. It was ready for pick up by the following Wednesday. Instead of have the soles' edges done in black, I had requested for it to be done in natural tan and have it waxed. The results were beautiful, professional and prompt. Additionally, they make their own shoes available off the rack, as well as custom lasted ones. I've never had custom shoes made but the interesting thing about the custom lasts is that even the soles will be shaped according to your feet. I'd definitely be bringing my shoes in for them to service in future.

I have been given very good advice and conscientious service over the past ten years. I have already bought a number of pairs of shoes, whether made-to-measure or ready-to-wear, from Mr. Renn and when they expired, they were soled like new or repaired. I am happy to recommend Mr. Renn and his shoes to others. I also get along well as a “Prussian” with his “Franconian way” &! -))

Twice sloppy work, and that was the last time after many years of being a customer. The first time the heel was not properly repaired, the second time the new sole did not last a day. Why the annoyance when acceptable work was sometimes done? Because with the broken sole the old man in the shop told me that I was too stupid to wear shoes. So it won't be anything with customer loyalty.
