Disorganized, incompetent, unfriendly The lecture schedule does not come on time if the semester has already started Grades are always given too late Students have to pay for mistakes by lecturers Service is zero, you neither get an answer on the phone, nor do you get an answer to emails If you lose your practice partner, nobody in Dortmund helps Study costs will be increased despite Corona, i.e. despite online lectures (no use of the library, no use of the rooms in general ...)

I should start there a dual study in the WS2019 (personnel management). In order to have enough time I applied already in February / March. From the company I was at 2 job interviews. I have searched 2 more myself. So now it works at a company, which was recommended to me by the IUBH. I should start there on 15.08.2019 (work 1.5 months before I start my studies) Announced accordingly my job etc. On 8.08 I get the information that I will not be accepted. Reason: unknown! So I stood so 1.5 months before study start without work (no money to finance my then distance learning) and no practice partner. My student advisor had probably tried to find out how something like that comes about but no one has heard about it. I've lost confidence in the university although it has been said over and over again that we can do it. I told my student advisor that I would like to say thank you but take a different path. My student advisor did not really show a reaction and seemed more "relieved". In the short term, I also found another university with dual degree courses and spontaneously found a very good practice there. (I do not seem to be the only person who had such an incident, because a few weeks ago a girl referred to me, who probably had the same situation) The only positive thing to mention is that the study counselors were always nice. But that brings nothing if you just before 12 gets a rejection.

Very nice and helpful staff! The atmosphere is already very informative at information events and the advice is totally individual.
