Best FH. I studied here myself years ago and was very happy to have made the decision. I was always very well looked after, the seminars were well structured. I can recommend without reservation!

Totally bad FH with many incompetent lecturers (in my course). Even through the crisis, the FH did not make it. Find out more about the degree program before you enroll. Digital semesters do not work particularly in the IT areas. Catastrophic...

Unfortunately, the FH also saves on internationally important magazines, such as Financial Times, Handelsblatt, reasonable GMAT books (e.g. Barrons, Princeton, Kaplan). Otherwise, the University of Applied Sciences is a place where you can work very well, at least in the economic sector (especially thanks to the majority of excellent lecturers).

Unfriendly service staff in the library. Unfortunately, the FH also saves on internationally important magazines, such as Financial Times, Handelsblatt, reasonable GMAT books (e.g. Barrons, Princeton, Kaplan). Otherwise, the University of Applied Sciences is a place where you can work very well, at least in the economic sector (especially thanks to mostly excellent lecturers).

Unfortunately, the crisis management at this university is desolate. It is right to hold particularly large events online during these times. However, there are still no concepts published or issued for students who are bound to enter the university through project work or theses. You are currently sitting at home while other colleges and universities offer better opportunities to re-enter them under certain conditions. It is also very unfortunate that all the other universities made up for the examination periods that had started (in March) (in June / July) and did not cancel almost completely, as is the case here. This also massively slows the university's learning progress. You just feel like you are a passive student paying, wondering what service the money is for. Here you can only look ironically at the motto of this university: "We focus on students". I'm curious when the time comes. I can only smile at how almost every other institution in this country manages to reintroduce everyday life as well as possible and our university thinks we are in lockdown. A lot is possible again with the appropriate hygiene concepts. A lot can be compensated online, but engineering in particular, which is based on practice, urgently needs concepts. Budding hopes are always nipped in the bud and it is therefore not possible to look elsewhere, as you currently cannot name a horizon for your own conclusion. At least on Sonnenstrasse, the university is almost empty during the semester break. If the cafeteria and library are blocked off for learners, only a few will enter the university. Introducing a hybrid semester for the university and then still restricting it for the students is not okay, especially considering the few people affected, the risk is manageable.
