Big and versatile. But I think it could be a little more varied. I think the idea with the academy students is great. Especially for school classes who want to orient themselves professionally.
On the far left of the over 300 meter long former ammunition factory, which today contains the ZKM with museums, workplaces, institutes, research and laboratories, is the entrance to atrium 10 with the collections that have made up the inventory since 1895. Modern works of art from the 20th and 21st centuries are on display on the ground floor and first floor, the exhibition of Ackermann's graphic works is currently on display in August 2020, and works, paintings and sculptures that go back to the 19th Reach into the 20th century - a fascinating show that reveals the various challenges and answers artists have to answer the questions of their and our times. The possibility of a virtual tour by scanning QR codes with your own modern mobile device is great. This enables new access to the artists and the exhibits. Free entry! There is barrier-free access, elevators, lockers (1 € deposit, back). About 3-4 minutes' walk from the tram stop (tram 2 from Karlsruhe main station, 4th stop).
Highly recommended! My photos show the gallery outside & inside, you should see the exhibits for yourself! Very friendly employees and very good compliance with the corona-related requirements, which guarantee a safe and inspiring visit!
