In recent years, the Reisebank has always been my point of contact when it comes to exchanging money. So far there has been nothing to complain about in this regard. Today I wanted to buy an investment coin for the first time, and here, too, I decided on the travel bank. In retrospect, this unfortunately turned out to be a mistake. After a long (and considering the current situation) waiting time in front of the branch, the coin was bought. When I bought it, I explicitly pointed out that I would be offered a new coin, as I set great store by the flawless appearance of the coin. The currency of the coin was confirmed to me with reference to the year 2020. Unfortunately, the subsequent assessment revealed that it had a scratch. Unfortunately, this was initially not visible through the plastic cover. I immediately contacted the branch by phone and explained the matter. Unfortunately, the management of this branch seemed to have no interest in a mutually satisfactory solution. With reference to the passage on the invoice, one was strangled briefly here. What the passage "Please count the amount of money received at the counter immediately ..." has to do with the immediate reporting of a defective coin will probably remain the branch management's secret. It should be clear that due to the fact that there was a large line of people waiting in front of the branch and due to safety concerns, one does not take a gold coin out of its blister in the branch and inspect it in peace. For me the matter would have been entirely acceptable if I hadn't explicitly pointed out my request in advance. But I don't thank you for anything, there are other banks too.
