Terrible. Over Christmas and all the time only planes over our house. Barely bareble. Man people, you have nothing better to do than take other people's peace and quiet. Despite several complaints to the Federal Ministry, it continues. Usually from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. It's really annoying. I will soon lodge a complaint in the Bundestag and convene a special commission.

Since Mr. Stoschek got involved, unfortunately very loud for residents. In addition, a birch grove was cut down to meet the new requirements for the runway, dog owners are no longer allowed to run around the site, a dog apparently took up poison and died here miserably, strollers are driven away, and the natural site is no longer as beautiful as it used to be. But that doesn't really matter now, because you can't walk there anyway. . . Unless you are a nature lover and protector. Thumbs down for the so-called gain of this company to Bamberg East.

To the noise complainers: I think it's pretty funny that I have to explain to you at the age of 15 that it is relatively likely that airplanes take off from an airfield and that airplanes need a certain engine power to fly. Of course this is a bit loud at low altitudes :( But since it is unfortunately not possible to start a Cessna by winch, I would recommend to all people who have a problem with noise not to live next to airports, railway lines, highways, etc. Let's get to the basics. The club atmosphere is very good, the flight instructors are nice and I can only recommend doing the glider license here. A stopover is also highly recommended for guest pilots, especially because of the old town of Bamberg, but also because of the good restaurant.
