Today at 5pm, as usual, I bought some bread in Der Beck close to the ZOB. Since it is quite difficult to learn all the German bread names (plus I have a cold), I just pointed out to the bread I wanted in the showcase and said "eins von denen". The saleswoman took the bread and rudely replied "Ich habe gerade meine Vitrine geputzt" (I just cleaned the showcase). I was shocked and said "was?" and she just repeated the same answer slowly. I paid for the bread (that I could have easily bought in other bakery) and left. "Der Beck" be more careful in how you choose your personal. I cannot recommend that bakery anymore to any foreign friend. It was such an offensive and probably racist experience!!!
