As a long-standing customer of this bank, I am more than disappointed. About 8 years ago I got financing from this bank for renovation work on my old house. I also took out a loan from this bank for my self-employment. Now there would be work in the garden that is very time-consuming. had to be carried out, for which I would have needed funding again. After I submitted a loan application, I was put off constantly for half a year and should send documents again and again. If I didn't follow up, there was no response. I was put off again and again, it still takes or I haven't gotten around to it yet. Then you were supposedly on vacation, sick, too few employees, etc. Several phone calls were made and it was never even rudimentarily mentioned that a loan approval was questionable. With the first email request that a loan is needed or whether it is possible, only the answer came, no problem, only the self-disclosure is required. Then, as a normal person, I assume that there is and is no problem. After it was certain that the work for which the loan was needed and the excavator was already on site, I was finally told after repeated inquiries that the loan cannot be guaranteed. And that after half a year !!!!!!! I'm not annoyed by the fact that no commitment was made, but by the fact that a statement was postponed! If I had known earlier that it would be difficult from this bank's point of view to give a financing commitment, I could have turned to another bank. As soon as the fixed interest rate for my home financing expires in 1-2 years, I'll switch banks. I have arranged the financing for the work that has already been partially carried out with another bank. There were no complications here and the process was very quick. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Sparkasse Bamberg, branch office East.

Staff very friendly and courteous. The branch has everything you need, ATM, printer, coin deposit, advice, etc. I'm talking about the branch at Heinrich Weber Platz.
