A beautiful art museum. The building is impressive and there are several exhibition areas: The sculpture hall, the "Klingersaal" (more sculptures), "Galerie Neue Meister" (paintings from the Romantic period to the present day) and an area where changing special exhibitions are located. Among the personal highlights are some impressionistic paintings by Degas, Monet and Max Liebermann.

Amazing exhibition of different artists from different eras and with different styles. Also a place where some of the best pieces of the best German artists are on display. The diversity of the pieces is great and therefore definitely worth a visit, especially if you're looking for things about German culture.

Nice museum. A bit less popular and therefore less crowded place than the museums of the Zwinger. However, this museum is definitely worth to visit when you are in Dresden.

The museum has an interesting collection. However, it's in need of major curatorial revamping. No guiding, no historical order, no description to introduce each section. Art in different levels in need of major humidity and temperature control, examples: Egyptian mummies and a 3 meters paintings of Napoleon 1 at room temperature. I was looking for art tags all the time. They could also work on the welcoming part which was non existing.

Nice museum with very interesting pieces. The places is big, comfortable, clean and it is not so crowded. It is pleasant to make a tour around it in peace and in calmness
