Great collection of coins and medals through the ages

The Münzkabinett gives a great overview of the history of the coin, from rather misshapen hammered thin sheet metal pieces to the technically perfect coins of our day, plus curious emergency solutions made of leather or parchment. Even a coin with a face value of one trillion is not seen every day.

I have to admit that it was very interesting to see these historical coins. Nevertheless, I think that the other halls in the castle were more splendid and, accordingly, more interesting. This room is more suitable for coin collectors.

Great collection divided into different eras and places. The accompanying texts are very informative. Changing exhibitions within the exhibition provide a breath of fresh air. The entrance is not too high and the scope is sufficient.
