Really good campsite in many respects. Clean facilities, friendly staff, well structured with two sets of washing areas etc. They do sell a very few minimal items in reception, I really only noticed different fuel for stoves etc. but I wasn't looking seriously. It's possible there are a few other things on offer. Theres also an onsite restaurant/bar, I didn't eat there but the food looked and smelled good, so I couldn't comment on prices for either. I paid €17.50 for camping (one person tent) including use of showers etc. Which from my experience isn't always included in Germany. There are 3 tent areas all within easy access of toilets and washing facilities. The price is about standard in my opinion. The camp site is within easy reach of the city centre via a ferry which costs around €1.50‐€1.75, I don't recall which. The ferry stops running around 19.30, after that you have to walk across the bridge to get back to the campsite. It is a busy campsite and they advise you to do things like beware of bike thieves and lock your bikes as a precaution. Many signs are also written in English and German which is nice for the minimally Germanic language users. For campers and cycle tourists it might be nice to have some covered seating areas nearby for them to use, especially if it rains. The last campsite I went to had these and it was well worth it, they also had sockets to charge and an area to put your stove, these little things for tent communities make a big difference. Overall this is an excellent site, with no actual faults with existing facilities, just things absent, such as the things I suggested. And really this is the only reason I'm rating it with 4 stars not 5.

This is a great spot. Unfortunately they do not allow reservations. We were told on the telephone there would be room 2 hours before arrival but when we got there is was full up. 🙁

This is a big camp, but mostly catering to RV/trailer crowd, with very few convenient spots for tents. I was lucky enough to have one of their barrel-shaped bungalows available, so didn't have to sleep in my tent.

Love this campsite, use it up to 4 times a year ,staff very helpful although difficult to book if you are British as a money transfer ( or something similarly expensive) is required. First used it in early 70's and it's certainly evolved. The town, cycling, and views are amazing.

Good camping for transiting/visiting Koblenz. Very clean shower/toilets but a bit pricy though. Nice boat to the other side of the river very nearby which I can absolutely recommend.
