The Old Town Hall in Bamberg is one of the most characteristic points of the historic city center. The town hall was built on the bridge over the Regnitz river in the 14th century. In the 15th century, the building was restored and given Gothic features. In the 18th century, the town hall walls were decorated with frescoes. Inside, there are city museums, including the largest porcelain collection in Europe
