It took a long time until the mass grave was set up as a memorial. It was inaugurated at the end of April 2018 and has been accessible to everyone ever since. At the entrance there is a passage made of concrete walls in which explanatory texts with photos inform the visitor. Then a concrete path leads to the mass grave. At the mass grave there are diagonally sawn-off tree stumps about 1 meter high as a symbol of the victims who perished violently.

For a long time I am interested in the U-transfers of the Third Reich. While researching I came across this mass grave. The memorial informs you well about the forest camps and their history. Particularly impressive are the many stones deposited on the sawed trees. A sign of Jewish remembrance.
