When I moved to this area in 1990, the locomotive was hidden in a ruin. I was very happy that the municipality of Ampfing integrated this steam engine into an industrial monument as part of the redesign of the station district. In addition to the locomotive, visitors have been able to see other technical devices from Ampfingen's history since 1998: a wind turbine, an oil pump and a solar system. The latter is in daily operation and serves as an energy source for the connected electric filling station.
