My husband an I loved Passau and the dachshund museum was icing on the cake. The owners were very friendly, like the rest of the population of this lovely town. My only regret was we got there just after their pups had gone home--would have loved to meet them as well. As parents of three dachshunds, we knew we had to go there just to let our friends back home in Florida know what freaks we are about the breed. Also, we got some great toys for our boys to enjoy.

Once you get inside, you can see lots of dachshund:) You must go if you have dogs. I’m sure you’ll like it! It costs 5€ though!

This is a must-see for all dachshund lovers. The gift shop is excellent. The only problem is choosing what to buy 😉
