Exhibition was somehow not offered or was closed. There were no signs or signs or anything like that.

For art lovers certainly interesting. The masterpieces of Romanesque to Baroque art are exhibited in the museum.

The Cathedral Treasury and Diocesan Museum in the old town of Passau is located on the Residenzplatz in the so-called Saalbau, the Old Residence and New Residence. Access to the museum is via a spiral staircase designed by Domstukkateur Giovanni Battista Carlone. On display will be liturgical vestments, monstrants, gothic panel paintings and other works of art from Romanesque to Baroque. Furthermore, the history of the diocese is presented. In the lower floor there is the prince-bishop's library with a baroque book collection. The exit is via the Rococo stairwell of the New Residence.
