Loving collection of many historical objects, nicely done. Financed by a development association. It is a shame that there is no more funding to be able to present everything a little more contemporary. It should be worth it to the city of Mainz. Always nice little special exhibition related to Mainz handicrafts, tradition or people. ....

I think this museum is good. Very informative and nice

Very pleasantly surprised. The entrance fee is very low and the museum is really informative. It is not very suitable for children, but rather for interested adults who enjoy reading, as there are many information boards. In about 2 hours you can see most of the museum. Overall: totally worth it. Incidentally: barrier-free.
