New exhibtion starting soon.Looking already very promising and interesting.

Super interesting and well put together for old and young.

Nice place, nothing fancy but they even have 2 Picasso paintings. The medieval exposition is also ok. Not Louvre but given it's in Mainz it looks great

The museum has a good collection of medieval and Baroque art, though it is not presented in a way that makes it easy to follow or appreciate unless you're an expert. The fantastic Roman collection is still mostly in storage, though a small part has finally been returned to the Steinhalle (again the presentation is poor with little information and many objects hard to view).
