HoPo is not perfect and democracy can be annoying. Nor do I agree with everyone there. If, however, you have a problem, you will find people there who will assist you with advice (and sometimes also deed).

Personally, I experienced a lot of racism and anti-Semitism among the members of ASTA Mainz. In particular, Muslim students such as the tolerant Ahmadiyya were discriminated by the ASTA Mainz. Too bad, it would have just been the task of ASTA to protect them.

The current AStA is extremely competent and always deals with all topics in a differentiated way! A very good representation for the self-administration of the university!

Unfortunately, the AStA of the University of Mainz has a very bad reputation. Among other things, because you spread a lot of racism at the university. Some members are considered to be extremely racist and Islamophobic.
