Squash - No thanks! Since we recently moved to Solingen and like to play squash, we were looking for a new venue. In the Google search we came across the Bergisch sports center - the website makes a good, solid impression and the offer (5 € per player per hour, for members of the sports center even for free) sounded good. Yesterday we were for the first time in the sports center. It is a very old location. The entrance area etc. is very dark, but we did not care, because we wanted to play only squash. There are 3 courts available - however, 2 to Spinning rooms or similar. converted so that only 1 court is available. The dark design continued unfortunately also on the Court - for us clearly too dark for squash. The floor was extremely dirty or just very dusty. Generally there was a "Grundmuff" in the whole tract and everything looked very old. Invested or renovated has not been here for a long time. A very oppressive atmosphere. We were very glad that we had already moved and did not have to go to the cabins. We have only seen the squash area - so there is no rating for other areas (fitness, soccer ...). However, the staff at the front desk was not exactly the friendliness in person. We will definitely not return to the Bergische Sportzentrum and are now looking for another location to play squash.
