Looks smallish from outside and the builing ist not too attractive but the exhibitions are just great. Absolutely entertaining and instructive. Thrilling the meteorite! Much more inside this museum than you wud ever expect - but in a very structured manner. Not to be missed!

This museum is dedicated more towards ancient civilizations and cultures rather than the usual dinosaurs and animals. The displays are beautifully presented and very interesting. It's also really cheap,.. only 5 euros for admission.

Museum is not English friendly which is a shame as the actual exhibits are great. We asked for an English guide booklet as everything is in German. To our amazement the staff told us we had to pay for it! Not very impressed and again it is a shame they had that attitude as the museum itself had some great exhibits.

The museum is really interesting and the staff is professional and friendly at the same time. I had a guided tour there and I recommend it to all the people interested in natural history and anthropology. The tour that I attended was in German.
