The university gives recommendations for much too expensive liability insurance with the Bavarian Insurance Chamber, health insurance with the AOK or bank accounts with the Sparkasse. Many Germans know that these companies are more expensive. International students, often not even able to speak German, often do not know this. In our personal case, the liability insurance was even set for 3 years, although the master’s course was only 2 years.
