I wanted to replace my shower after 20 years and therefore I had an offer made. Actually, I only wanted to have the quarter-circle shower wall and the associated bathtub replaced, but Mr. Bublak recommended that it be installed in front of the wall with a decorative rear wall. My objection that I still have a tiled wall and therefore do not need an expensive pre-wall installation was rejected with the note that the tiles have limescale residues that cannot really be removed. The whole thing should cost about 6000 €. That was too much for me, my pain limit was 4000 €. So I bought a professional limescale remover and got the residue completely removed. So when this result was satisfactory, I bought a suitable shower of the best quality in the relevant trade and installed it myself. With all the trimmings that cost about € 2400. I think that the Bublak company could have done the same and I would have liked to have paid the extra wages, so I would have been satisfied with my pain threshold. However, I had the impression that a desired product from the craftsman was offered, in which the high margin, but not the customer's wish, was in the foreground. In addition, of course, I have to say that this was the case in my case, if you have an ugly tiled wall or no suitable, waterproof wall, this pre-wall installation with decor is a good option, but here too there are considerably cheaper alternatives on the Internet.
