A must see place if you want to get to know the history of Munster and its significance in world history. The information is presented in several languages, there are a lot of pictures and historic models, so the visual part is also great. I would personally recommend a tour with a guide. The only inconvenience is that you will not be allowed to take pictures, anyway here the most important thing is feel it not to take pictures with you.

Really good, and free! If you wanna learn the story of the city in a for of a "timeline" you will not be disappointed at all, the modules of the city through the time are really cool! The story of Münster ist really rich and interesting, so go there and take a look, at the end is free anyway so there's nothing to lose

The museum has got a plenty of interesting exhibits, like replicas of the famous cages, very old pottery, nice China and furniture from 18/19th century. You can learn a lot about the history of Münster there (if you have a lot of time to read all infos 🙂).

No camera allowed when visitor enter the museum. The museum itself is super informative. The route will guide the visitors to the development of the city. There are interactive medias that will help in explaining some events. The important points in history are well highlighted. Awesome!
