Wonderful environment with a small herb garden and a beautiful children's playground with plenty of shade (walk approx. 800 meters). Monastery cafe with delicious snacks to help you get hungry. Not to forget the delicious cakes. Very friendly staff. Water was even provided for our four-legged friend. Saarn Monastery is very recommendable!

Delicious homemade cakes and pies. Friendly and courteous service. Very idyllic location. A very fair price-performance ratio. I would love to come back here.

Great atmosphere, a must when you go for a walk on the Ruhr or ride your bike. Historic site that should be seen. And the cafe is always worth a stop.
