One of the ugliest places in Duisburg, a real eyesore on the map of Germany.
Historic site of a former water tower with machine house and shed or coach house. The historicism style water tower was almost completely destroyed in World War II and only the ground floor is partially visible. The machine house and the shed appear undamaged. The site is not accessible and belongs to an association.
I am a resident of the neighboring district and while I am writing these lines in the middle of the night, there is a loud party going on there. The police and the landlord are already informed. My Vorrezensenten confused "cool" and "informal" hopefully not profane with LOUD - for such parties you should better necessarily seek another location. And even the operator should be better informed in advance, who are his guests and what they plan there for a "celebration" - today, the neighborhood is not bothered for the first time from there.

Chic location for a casual party in the middle of the forest. Kitchen, toilets and a dance room. Covered area in the courtyard.
