Beautifully renovated does not deceive about the inability of DB to use public transport decently. Especially here at Mülheim central station the information flow is catastrophic for the commuter. Dropping S-Bahn trains are not announced on the scoreboard or by announcements. I have been driving to work by public transport for more than 25 years and what is improving here is your punctuality.
In the meantime, I am so frustrated that I think about switching to the car again.
