Very good practice - quick appointment - expert and competent treatment
I am very satisfied with the joint practice for orthopedics in Landsberg. Got an appointment within two days. Only had to wait a few minutes in practice. The medical assistants and the x-ray assistant were all very friendly. The forms to fill out are normal in every German doctor's practice these days. The doctor was very friendly and took time for me. He also immediately did a sonography and (after asking me if I wanted to do that too) had an X-ray taken in the practice. The discussion that followed was extensive and helpful. I cannot understand the sometimes very negative reviews.
Appropriate waiting times as well as nice and competent staff. I was helped quickly.
a nightmare
I was astonished to learn that there are different types of private insurance at the reception of this practice, who preferred making an appointment by phone. Email is bad. There are four forms to greet you. That means four times last name, first name, date of birth, place, date, signature. Very tiring. And later twice the same questions, once from an assistant or something, once from a doctor. And as is customary, the patient was left in a room with the remark that the doctor would be right there. The uncertainty of whether you have been forgotten is terrible. I was not asked whether I was in pain, and the pain was the reason for this first and last visit. I wish others luck.
-Neck pain-
I have had severe neck pain for about 2 to 3 years and am therefore considered a pain patient. Every 2 to 3 days muscles in the neck area / cranial base cramp and then ignite accordingly.
The practice looked at me twice. I wouldn't call it treated.
Sure you have short waiting times and get an appointment quickly, but the treatment is really only a reputation of the patient.
I sit topless on the couch and the doctor stands behind me. After I turned my head to the left and then to the right, he said that everything is fine. The appointment was twice like this. I was even addressed unfriendly which is why I come a second time because of the same problem. Because of this short reputation it was claimed that everything is in perfect order orthopedically, no touching, no exercises or movements ... what an orthopedic surgeon ^^ Even when I asked if he didn't want to feel something or give in, he said that everything is fine otherwise I don't move my head so well ?!
I was then sent to the MRI. Overall, the brain and complete cervical spine were made. Everything looks great, no herniated discs or fractures.
After 18 appointments at the Physio, it didn't get any better. Sure, after a physical appointment, it’s good again 2 to 3 days, then it starts all over again. The physio said that something was wrong with the vertebrae in the cervical spine, but thanks to MRI and the "good" orthopedist I was able to rule it out ...
So almost 3 years a day with 600 to 1,200 ibuprofen. In order to spare the kidneys, I was also injected on the neck by the family doctor. However, neither pain medication nor cortisone for longer than 3 days helped.
It is extremely uncomfortable to wake up with pain every day for 3 years and to carry it around with you most of the day.
After 3 years I tried a naturopath from Kaufering. He fastens me and said like the physios, there is something wrong with the C-vertebrae. Thanks to acupuncture, I could only be painless and without medication for 2 days, but then again ibuprofen.
So I went again to another orthopedic surgeon in Landsberg, who grabbed me immediately even after a 3-minute conversation. Head in arms, slightly twisted and torn. It cracked properly and he said that was the C2 vortex, which is now back in there. He was horrified that no doctor had tried anything like this before. Then I had severe pain for another day and since then I am free of symptoms and do not need any more medication!
Due to the absolutely bad work of the orthopedic surgeon in this practice, I had to suffer from severe pain for 3 years. I ran unnecessarily from doctor to doctor and unnecessarily used an MRI twice. My family doctor was already desperate and didn't know what to do. In retrospect, I have to advise everyone not to visit this orthopedist. Other orthopedists really heal you in less than 5 minutes and here you are simply forwarded to MRI or physio and have to live with pain for years!
Note: The appointments all took place in front of Corona, so I could have been safely touched and put down.
