An excellent, affordable museum showing the tumultuous history of the 1920s. Every sign is in German and English. There is a nice film with recreated speeches, with subtitles in English. It’s a small, one room museum, but you could spend 2 hours inside. Also, there’s a nice little biergarten in the back!

Great materials about the Weimar Republic and German democracy, 1918 to 1936.
I was visiting Weimar during the autumn holidays with my granddaughter and her friend. The first way led us to the theater and then to the house of the Weimar Republic. I was amazed at how interested the two girls were. You are in the 11th grade in Greiz. Was covered in history class.
Is definitely to be recommended!
Very nice staff and well done digitized additions. The political background is made very clear. The house also conveys a lasting appreciation of democracy, which we urgently need.
