Camping Altenahr

We have been here several times and always enjoyed it. Very friendly operator, camping very well maintained. This year we were the last on the tourist square and were allowed to stay longer. A thank you for this. See you next year and stay healthy. Greetings from Viersen. ☺

One of the best campsites I have ever visited! Seldom such friendly owners as the Schulz family experienced. Mr. Schulz is there every day with heart and soul and does everything to ensure that the facility is well maintained and that his guests are happy. The sanitary facilities are always clean and well heated. The location right on the Ahr is beautiful. The direct connection to the bike path and the possibility to go hiking make the whole thing even better. We are completely satisfied and thank the whole Schulz family for their great commitment!

Has everything a camper needs! Clean, well-kept and pleasant! Perfect for motorhomes! Chemical toilet and gray water disposal. Fresh water and bread service! At 22 € per night, but twice as expensive as the many other parking spaces right next door

We can't say much about it because we only stayed there for 1 night. Checking in, etc. went pretty smoothly, but a man on the bike does not give you a choice but takes you to a place without asking and is also immediately away. Were on a large lawn which was divided into sections with red / white ribbon, so no other natural separation at all. There is electricity, plumbing is in order, corona was taken seriously, and the campsite is located directly on the Ahr, where you can also enjoy cycling.

Accessible despite road closures. Spacious, clean and tidy sanitary facilities. Even now in corona times enough sinks, toilets and showers, washing machines, etc. Unfortunately, shower tokens. WiFi available, unfortunately no decent internet connection. And no 4G or the like, so forget about internet. Camper service point is not really handy, dead end square. No supermarket nearby. 3 stars because of wifi
