Great location. Good views onto river. Only downside, most vans/tents are quite cramped together

Very well equipped, run by friendly people. Clean and quiet which allowed for a good night sleep before continuing our journey by bike. Thank you!

We found this campsite a great little spot for a couple of nights as we were cycling along the Rhine. The owners do not speak English but we got by ok, they are very friendly people. It was €20 per night for two people and a tent which we thought reasonable in busy season. Facilities are great and it feels a bit like home. There’s a small fridge and microwave and each shower is in a little bathroom - one even had a set of scales. Everything is clean and looks reasonably new. The camping area is on a grass area in front of the lake with all the permanent campers surrounding it. Slight hill but flat at the top. There is also access to electricity at the top, furtherest from the lake. There are lots of table and chairs around to use and quite a few trees for shade. Closest decent sized supermarket was about 3km away and there were a few eating out options in the town close to the camp too. As others have said, follow the signs rather than Google or Kamoot.

Secluded and slightly difficult to find. Googlemaps took us to an abandoned piece of ground, luckily we did spot the signs! Quirky but wholly delightful site with adequate facilities. Additional charges for showers/hot water, but the €1 shower rooms are excellent with shampoo, cotton buds, tissues etc. The tent ground is sloping, so you have to pick your space well, and the seasonal residents can be a bit nippy (suggesting me move further away on the premise that they would be watering their plants). The site got busier on Friday with folk arriving for the weekend, but not too noisy. No shop or restaurant on site, Netto to nearby.
