In this Museum I have seen quite attractive exhibitions including movies, pictures of Synagogues, antique buildings, houses and streets. These lively and well exhibited items lead me to the comprehensive picture of the of the jewish community in the year 1000 to 1500. I hope you won't miss this opportunity once you come to Worms...

The Jewish museum of the Rashi house, for an uninitiated person in these regards, like myself, is a very instructive experience.Being formed from three different sections, the museum is a true history lesson about the lives and tribulations of the Jewish people of Worms; about their tradtion, culture, and religion. The exhibits, being of very high quality, are accompanied by explanations in both German, and English. You also have the option of viewing a video. The ticket is quite cheap, and the lady that sells them extremely welcoming and kind.

A bit boring. The museum attendant was so bored herself that she was yawning while she was reading "The Picture of Dorian Gray" from Oscar Wilde.

The Jewish Museum in Worms gives an impressive insight into Jewish life in the Middle Ages, but the terrible events of the Third Reich are also impressively documented. You should take your time for this and combine a visit to the museum with a short tour of the Jewish quarter. The Jewish cemetery is currently closed to the public, so ask for a guided tour beforehand.
