Tierpark Hagenbeck

This is a large and very well kept, well-known zoo. The animals are treated very well and have nice enclosures. Be sure to check out feeding and show times before you arrive incase something of that sort might interest you or you're children. Food and drinks are available throughout the park. A nice and respectable zoo with different areas like the "Tropen-Aquarium", the Polar region and the Savannah. Animals are kept according to their needs with relatively ample space. The zoo has continuous success in breeding endangered species. Lately a Orangutan born 24.5.20. Animals in the wilderness, their home are wonderful and their homes need to be protected even from tourists. Therefore zoos are great to ensure their future.

One of the costliest zoo in Germany. Did not visit the aquarium so this review is not about it. A lot of birds and monkeys. Kids would love the elephant and monkey cages. Also relatively small in area as compared to Berlin or Munich zoo

Amazing zoo , have many animals, i love the cute elephants. They have amazing animals from the Antarctic. Polar bear and seals and Penguins.

A very informative park with lots of different offerings and little addons for information regarding the animals and their environments. The selection of food and drinks is also great as there are various concession stands dotted around the entire park. However they tend to be a bit on the expensive side.
