My mom and six year old brother came to Germany to visit me from the US . Since my mother loves making crafts I took her to this store cause I thought it’d be nice.
Anyhow my brother simply grabbed a miniature toy to see it and put it back in the box and all I heard was the lady at the cashier shouting to him “but don’t be putting the toys in your pockets” she instantly assumed he stole the toys . It was a very awkward situation because I was forced to check his pockets and I already knew he didn’t have anything because HE doesn’t steal things and he knows what’s right and wrong.. the lady didn’t apologize for being wrong.
We are originally South Americans and I’m tired of people simply assuming we come in to steal just because we are foreigners. It’s embarrassing and just an unpleasant feeling to be around at.
Not going there again or recommending this store to anyone after this incident.
This shop is unique! You really get everything here! Great assortment and also very nice gift items. The employees advise patiently and are always in a good mood. People really like to shop here.
Great shop with a lot of choice and great ideas.
They are also very careful with the Corona requirements, sometimes you stand in line but someone comes out to ask what you want. If they don't have it then, you don't stand in line for free.
