TOURIST TRAP : they have their own coins for the washing machines and they don’t say ANYWJERE where you can get them . DONT WASTE MONEY IN THE MACHINE IN THE BACK . all instructions in German plus the service team on the phone DOESNT SPEAK ENGLISH . you put it together . Middle of Hamburg . Unbelievable

Helpful service, super retro laundromat! Like travelling back to the 60’s. That being said the machines work and are clean. Instructions however all in German unfortunately! Also one of the few places Jimmy Hendricks did his laundry whilst touring. Beyond a laundromat, a cultural experience that perfectly befits the quirky character of St. Pauli!

Not very customer oriented. If you need to wash your stuff over weekend, this place will do. But be sure to first understand what you need to do before wasting money by accident. There is no one to help you and the signs all say it’s your loss should you not follow instructions correctly and loose money..

There is no change machine, so you have to get coins. There is a kiosk in front of the laundry where you can exchange money, and get an Astra for 1.30€! Washing machine are ok. Washing powder is included. Unfortunately, dryers are not so good... we wasted 3€ (1.5 hour) on a machine (#3) that left our clothes wet. So, we had to try another dryer machine (#7) and it worked. I suggest to try the drying machine using one coin (50 cent / 16 minutes) first, in order to avoid our mistake!

If you want to lose money and get annoyed that's the right place. Basically they are thieves and fraud people and they do not care anything if you have any problem out there. So I lost 3.50 Euro as others and nothing happened as return.
