The street is getting more interesting with a lot of new shops being opened and many ot the older shops being refurbished. Great for window shopping late at night as well as eating and drinking out. There are always people here and in and around Gerhard-Hauptmann-Platz there is often other an enities such as Public-viewing and open markets and fairs. Cinema and Theatre are within walking distance- Well Served by Public transport and taxis. Good cellphone reception and many hot-spots with free or inexpensive Wi-Fi.
