Barrier-free stop (guide for the blind, elevator to the respective track, above the elevator door there is a sign indicating where the train is going) Interesting architecture, platform partially roofed, platform height in correlation to the entrance height of the subway, no staff on site, cleanliness in the elevator can be optimized .

In itself good station, but the elevator was broken and it all looked quite messy from the outside. It is very special, but buying tickets with the machine is only possible with cash or a German debit card (international!). Recommended is the group pass for a day (€ 12 for up to five people, unlimited travel also by bus, tram and ferry).

I find it astonishing that some say it is a "historical" train station, without an elevator ... I think it is quite logical that historical train stations did not have any elevators. Hopefully the elevated train will change it!

A classically beautiful station of the Hamburger Hochbahn. Since May 2018 barrier-free with new elevator, which can be found in the "back area" of the station. The benches have also been renewed in May / June 2018. Escalator is missing. Since half of the station is outdoors, there is a special risk of slipping on wet and icy days. Unfortunately, the trains are very far from the stairs. A small kiosk on the ground floor of the station completes the charm of this station.

Finally a barrier-free train station
