I needed to open a German bank account, and a few of my colleagues recommended me Sparkasse. And I can understand why! At this branch, I had an appointment with Thorsten Appel. He is very nice! Speaking perfect English, explained to me everything in a very polite way. I highly recommend this Sparkasse office and Herr Thorsten for expats! Lovely experience:)
The staff here are very helpful indeed, especially if you don't speak German very well. They usually have an English speaker there. Jessica Sackmann took the time to listen and explain everything we needed to know. Highly recommended.
Without exaggerating, my experience opening my account with Ms Jessica Sackmann was very memorable and I will recommend anyone needing a bank account to visit the Sparkasse bank.
I highly recommend opening a Sparkasse account from this branch in Filiale Kessenich. For foreigners and expats who cannot speak good German, its not a problem. Herr Appel is fluent in English plus courteous and professional. They are efficient. In total, the banking service is excellent.
As a foreigner with limited German skills I find the service always efficient and very helpful. Thanks to Jessica Sackmann and the personnel here I feel extremely confident with managing my finances here.
