One of the iconic place in Bonn. This place is really good for those who are Beethoven fan or are musician. This place is all about Ludwig Beethoven's life. Inside the house there are paintings right on the ground floor many iconic original paintings. There is his book in which he created manuscript for his masterpiece music. Music instruments violin and piano. Letters, certificates and sculptures. Many manuscript of his music are displayed. One room is available where you can here his iconic music through headphones and very comfortable seating arrangement is provided thereby. Total of 3 floors in house. There is one garden and on the right there are 2 rooms one is music room and other is treasury. In treasury you will find some more Music manuscripts and a monitor which displays some detailed information on it. Taking pictures inside the house is prohibited. The ticket can be purchased right opposite to the house where a locker is available for storing your personal belongings. The shop contains many interesting things to sell.

Basically a museum about the man himself and his life when he lived in Bonn. The location is the very place he was born and lived in during the early days of his life. The museum features the largest collection of items relating to and used by Beethoven in the world. If you are a Beethoven fan it is a must visit.

Interesting and worth seeing. Did not give a complete life story by just reading the English signs, probably have to get the audio guide for a more detailed story. But they did have English signs that told the history of Bonn as well as Beethoven when he lived there. Cool to see. I spent less than an hour there.

Worth it! A lot of great belonging of him are displayed in the house. There is a room where we can listen to his music. Great place! Audio guide not available because of Covid. Also, there is a free locker in front of the house (where we buy the tickets) it’s ideal.
