A huge selection, best quality, one band motif even more beautiful than the other ... I'm just thrilled!

Ribbon weaving and Museum Kafka a popular place to learn about the history of the band weavers. Because Wuppertal was at that time Industriell with the ribbon weaving very high. And there were also many tanners on the spot. Since much is produced in China or the Middle East these days, this craft in Germany is threatened with extinction and is almost completely ousted by dumping prices. Here you can take a look at how weaving was done in the past, and in very big looms. Great decision if you are interested in the history of weaving.
