A great afternoon where we learned a lot about mining. We were accompanied by longtime Sachtleben employee Mr. Lübke. Super informative, easygoing and entertaining. He was also able to report all open questions and more detailed information from his own experience. Super!!
Sympathetic, informative, informal. Unfortunately, no way into the pit but you can complain at 2.5 € for a 1.5 hour tour in any way.
We recommend!
Without mining, the towns of Maumke and Meggen would probably have developed completely differently.
Guided tours are available on Sundays in the afternoon.
