I'm a big fan of half-timbered houses. Spontaneously visited the old town of Heppenheim today and discovered the beautiful town hall. Great market square with many wonderfully preserved houses, small bars to linger. A great destination, not just for Formal 1 / Vettel fans. Heppenheim is a beautiful city on the mountain road!

A beautiful old town hall. Well preserved. The registry office has a wonderful hall where you can marry. We liked it very much.

Renaissance town hall built in 1551, which burned down to the ground floor in 1693 after a fire as a result of the Palatinate War of Succession. Subsequently, it was also rebuilt with baroque elements. This includes the onion tower typical of this era. The town hall is one of many historical buildings that are grouped around the very beautiful market square.
