Schönes museum!! Beautiful large museum has so many amazing great artifacts. The history of Hof is presented in such great detail. You could spend hours here enjoying all the history and learning so much. The staff were very friendly. The ticket price was very reasonable. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful introduction to the culture and history of Hof and the Bavarian Vogtland. Had numerous artifacts from a variety of time periods including furniture, pipes, tools, paintings, books, instruments, and clothing. There was also several miniatures of the city made from different time periods, collections of rocks and minerals and special Hof pieces like a dragon head spout from the old castle and the old baptismal font base from St. Michaeliskirche. One could spend hours exploring the museum and it is laid out well covering several floors with sections having different themes. The ticket price was very reasonable.
