Worth seeing, as well as Freyung incl. Church, village square, shops .... Museum opening times: Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 12:30 pm + 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm Friday 8:30 to 16:00 Saturday until 14.00 At the center of the museum is the problem of displaced persons after the Second World War, especially the fate of the Winterbergers. Countless residents of the formerly prosperous industrial city had to leave their homes, leave their homes behind and could only take a few belongings with them. Nevertheless, a handsome collection of items was collected by Winterbergern: personal things, industrial products, tools, photos etc ... Also group tours possible!
